Sony launches the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact in India

Sony has launched the new Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact in India. The two new models arrive not too long after the Xperia Z2 (May) and the Z1 Compact (February) were launched in the country.

The new Xperia Z3 is priced at ₹51,990 ($846) and the Xperia Z3 Compact is priced at ₹44,990 ($732). The pricing is quite steep, especially when you consider the new Moto X was launched for ₹31,999 just a couple of days back.

The new Xperia Z3 features thinner and lighter design, faster processor, and improved battery life. The Z3 compact gets a bigger display, faster processor, improved battery life, and stereo speakers.

The Z3 is available in black, white, and copper, and the Z3 Compact in black, white, orange, and green. Both phones are now on sale.
